It was a frightening rumour for a while, but Geri mailed me the validation. Steve Earl, one of my all time country favorites and the V-Roys (both on e squared) did some Ska togehter. So what? Cutting out a website
Yes, that's no longer impossible. Netdyslexia are also delivering a cutting pattern how you can cut their site into several pieces. And the strange thing is, that the division of their javascript-update-box makes their site loading much (very much) faster. How the hell did they...? And the new design comes from izake, the master of aesthetics. |

Pirates sharing their loot
On occasion I will be guest at fm4 (as an 'expert' in finding mp3s over the net, hehe) I did some inquiry on non-server-based applications like gnutella (fresh: Mactella for tha apples). Here's a fine tutorial for newbies, as it is sometimes not easy to get connected and understand the (non)search routine implemented (for pc). I'm not really happy with the results I get looking for stuff I like, but this could get better the more people connect using this software. Nevertheless it's great fun to watch all the search queries coming in from others. There's an interessting interview with Ian Clarke at the mp3.com summit 06/00 (rm,wma). He's the original creator of freenet, another decentralized peer-to-peer network. Efficient distribution over the net once you run a freenet server, it says, this one should outperform gnutella. We'll see. - I don't think scour and their i-drives will survive the next, say, four months. So we keep milking |
