Next Filesharing-System - Aimster
Aimster is built up on Instant Messanger. It enables to aim for files on AOL, Gnutella and Microsoft Networking and with filesharing trough buddylists it avoids music industry's reproach of public sharing. The program is in beta-version 2.0 at the moment and it's only available for windows. I have already tested it and - hey! - it works great. Read more in german on futurezone. |

The summer sleep is over
No, not for me and ERR but for usounds and it's editor. "I had a great summer (Paris, Amsterdam, Seattle, Santorini, all on about $300 and a 1967 Citroen DS) but it's all about the writing and the music now. (...) Reviews are pouring in, as are exclusive new mp3s from around the world." That's what he tells. Ok, I'm waiting. |

Walter Steiner is bathing again
I contacted Mr Walter Steiner some while ago to tell him that his bath tub singings are surpassing and that some of the mp3s are not working anymore and that I would like more of this. Today I got an answer and he blabed me his hoard on mp3.de. Btw you can also mail if you want him a song to interpret. |

It's easy to be a star
Just participate in Euroranch's Lotto and you will win and get admired by our visitors. Honestly, there is nothing more to do. Just now demonstrated by Hns and his really lovely painting. The next 3 Falter editions are going out to him. Even though he was the only competitor he was the best one and deserves the prize. "Elvis was King because he rode a scooter." Next Lotto's prize |

Don't be afraid, it's only austrian electronic art
#1 Thilges. Electronic formation playing only at public places like trainstations - kind of ambient. Only best reviews. #2 Musikprotokoll at styrian autumn. Masochist? Get one last years example from Christian Fennesz in realaudio. #3 Der Scheiszhaufen (engl: the crap-pile?), a digital book in german. Don't dare to think that could be funny. BTW: A lack of competitors increases your chance immensely to win the current lotto. Indeed it won't be easy to beat Hns's painting. |

www.nosepilot.com
Yes, yes, yes. How I enjoy being a reader (ok, tobi, the epikur/swine thesis). And a listener.

Modern traditional country
I know you think that I am a bit stupid regarding my passion for country music. To verify your opinion I want to point out that Paul Burch & The WPA Ballclub have released their third album: Blue Notes. It's some kind of a very traditional country but no retro and without any sarcasm, it's modern traditional in a way. Paul Burch is playing in several band formations. The best known one is the alternative country band Lambchop. Real- and Quicktimesamples of the first two albums can be found on their website, new and old mp3s on audiogalaxy. This kind a slide guitar makes a sappy steak out of my heart. internal: sven, could ya please put in my cowboy pic? h_h: 1. You're not stupid 2. Howdy, that hat seems to fit |

Win 3 Falter editions until thursday night!![]() LottoPrize: You will get sent three upcoming editions of europeans best city print magazine the Falter, which is not only a very good event-announcement but also a very important culture and politics magazine here in Vienna (Austria). Thank's a lot to Falter's marketing section, Mrs. Julia Kopetzky. Challenge: Actually we all know that Elvis is the king, yes we heaered that thousands of times. But from where? Where is his kingdom and what is it's name? With a weird answer to our notes and Fortuna's sympathy it's quite easy to win. Closing date is thursday at midnight. Don't forget your mailaddress. |

I met Elvis in the outskirts from Memphis
Today we have the 23rd day of death of the king. Enough reason for spray.net to put together some Elvis sites. One of the most curious one comes from Eilert Pilarm. The swedish pallet truck (Gabelstapler) driver and Elvis imitator spent several years in a psychiatric clinic cause he thought he was the king himself - even though he doesn't speak any english. That fact gives his interpretations a special drive as you can imagine. (Mailed by Geri. Thanks!) Tomorrow will be a lotto again with an Elvis related question. |

Links for you and me
Today I have cleaned up our link-section a bit. Means that I have left out some unneeded stuff and have restocked the site with lots of useful music-related links such as audio search tools, audio sources, musiczenes but also some favorite weblogs. The site is mainly kind of a portal for me. Updatebox at the bottom makes the top-part load much faster and within all browsers. And our guestbook is called "notes" now instead of "messages". |

Stella - a disrecommendation
Yesterday was the "Gürtel Nightwalk" which I have announced on fm4 - a party organized by the city (Vienna) and performed by some locations along the Gürtel. I recommended the band Stella from Hamburg which played at the B72. I have been there and so tell you now: Forget Stella, forget also their new album! It's boring, uninteresting, slick and simple. Wah! |
