Hot Lotion again?
Today's livegig at Hot Lotion is the Viennese band Villalog. Don't know too much about them but it's kind of free floating guitar and electronic sounds. And besides that the Monsieur Confrociéres will give there best to entertain us. |

The Teaches Of Peaches is the last album from Peaches, which I have got sent today by the kitty-yo label. I have mentioned it already. It's dirty, minimalistic, raping, oldschool elektro-punkrock. And it's art. She is on tour in november, together with Gonzales and you should see a show with them - it's extreme. Brandnew: X, the upcoming F.S.K. album
What a wonderful day! Very interesting job-offerings, a bright weather and: the new FSK album in my postbox. It's always the same with a new FSK: you have to get used to the tune for a while bevore you really love it. On the whole it's connecting to Tel Aviv, the last one, but it's more consequent in the structure and the instrumentalisation. Text and vocals are absolutely reduced now. Sometimes the chorus is only singing the songtitle. FSK is doing electronical music with analog instruments. Patterns are perpetuing in this typical smooth but also rough style. There is a new one out by F.S.K.
The best and most important band of, aeh ... the last century in europe - F.S.K. - is releasing a new album (3. november). They call it "X" (10), guess why. And I do not have it right now - wah! The audios on their label's site do not work (btw. most labels are really doing a bad online job). Tomorrow I will give a phonecall to Bavaria and ask for the cd. I have just heared the last song "Haus der Kunst" in the radio (im Sumpf) and it sounded quite similar to the last album but with even more consequence in the structure and more generosity in the sound. Bright weather at Styrian Autumn
Have been at Styrian Autumn this weekend with som friends. Styria fall with such a bright weather is the best place in the world, if you are interested. Not everything happened like we have had expected it but "Das Pulverfass" was the best play I have ever seen in my life. It was shown what a good staging is able to accomplish: a thrilling and impressing play. |

Berlin sex-hop teaches with peaches
I have already seen her once, together with Gonzales in Vienna. They broadcast her last album "Teaches of Peaches" on atrecordings.com where you can stream it along or get an mp3 on kitty-yo.de. It's described as 'a sexy, hot bitch soul shouter with the bomb beats', but what I saw once was a performance, a hard and punky one and that's the same with the music. What you consume is pure sex you get told, but I felt more like having been raped. They should be on tour at the moment - I don't know. If I really hate something...
than it's dogs, licking any spot of my body (via NDX). Story: I was in Italy once with Wolfi Winkler and we visited some of his relatives. They have had an extremely(!) stinking small beast. And this creature permanently wanted to lick somebody - especially me. When I woke up in the morning it was sitting next to my face, breathing it's stinking exhalation directly on my nose. Don't want to envision for how long it was sitting there. This was my "good morning story". Have a nice day. Death to all dogs! |

Give me the cultural overload
#1 Styrian Autumn is a very important alternative and avantgardistic cultural happening and, as it's name says, taking place every autumn (6.10. - 5.11.) in Styria (Austrians wooden heart where I come from). Mainly in Graz but also in other towns. Musictheater, performances, mediaart, design, architecture, theatre, music ... and also parties. I'm going to visit some events but am swamped with selecting. #2 Same thing is every year with Viennale the international Viennese filmfestival (13.10. - 25.10). Getting stressed by choosing the best acts and nonetheless having the feeling that you have missed something. Hints are very very welcome. |

MP3-Player for your mobile
I don't like it to promote hardware. How cool a new Apple is or shit like that, but the exception proves the rule: The Ericsson MP3-Player is really a cool thing, that small and compatible with all Ericsson mobiles (if I only had one. the T28 is already flirting with me). How comfortable it would be to go djing with only my mobile with me. |

We've seen Michael Hurley yesterday
And we, that were a lot of friends, people I know and me. A very intimate lot you could say. The concert was very nice, Michael Hurley is such a soft folk musician (and it's folk not country, h_h told me. and he is right - in a way, but there are also countrysongs, I tell him).
