Ich bin der Meinung das war SPITZE!
There have been so many people there yesterday, I've been very glad. All of them in such a good mood and we have seen a fantastic concert. Philip you are really genius! And very special thanks are going out to our three guest-DJs who have nearly replaced Sven and me completely. Not only that they have been delivering good music, Sven and me we have been wreaking and drinking. See you next time another station - may be february... Pictures will be delivered as soon as possible.

EuroRanch Clubnight - this friday
This Musiclog is nearly one year old now and so we are arranging the first Clubnight - a so called crossmedia action (hei! wow!). EurorRanch will be delivered via (live)sounds and visuals. DJs are not only hans_heinz and me but also music versed EuroRanch user like Tobi, Geri and Rainer. Furthermore you will get irritated by slow motion movies of Rancheros making an outing (eine Landpartie). The very midnight attraction will be a life concert by Philip Quehenberger, organist and elektronic musician and jazz pianist. A genius maniac.

Music for adult people with good taste
Friday, 24th of november, |u|-Club, Vienna
Otto Wagner Cafe, Karlsplatz. Free Entry!

Where are you going to, my pretty maid
"...I'm going a-milking, sir, she said.
May I go with you, my pretty maid?
You are kindly welcome, sir, she said.
Will you marry me, my pretty maid?
Yes, if you please, kind sir, she said.
What is your father, my pretty maid?
My father is a farmer, sir, she said.
What is your fortune, my pretty maid?
My face is my fortune, sir, she said.
Then I cannot marry you, my pretty maid.
Nobody asked you, sir, she said."

Not new (I have got it today) but absolutely unknown - Mother Goose, the second album (1998) by The Anomoanons (related with Palace Music). If you are not depressed by the weather yet, you will fall deeper after this playlist.

Prepare for the Wintertime
Heat your rooms and your hearts, have get send some cakes from your mother and listen to Elf Power and their new album Winter Is Coming! They are part of the elephant 6 collective which will have to be explored this winter. "...with a nod to Brian Wilson, a heads up to Brian Eno and a salute to Sonic Youth..." more on sugarfreerecords.

A Mighty Good Feeling
Vienna Scientist Recordings have released another compilation of Viennese electronic musicians: Vienna Scientists III. Down tempo tunes of Viennese "new-shool". Should go along with the inhomogenity of the scene in this town: Latino, Ambient, Dub, Funk, Trip Hop or straigt ahead - Jazz. Nice and sometimes boring livingroom music.

I See a Darkness
Been writing about the new Johnny Cash album Solitary Man long time ago, I forgot that there is a duett with Will Oldham on it. My friend Jakob (teaching in France right now) reminded me on it. So I sucked it from the net and spit it out here. How you can cry in such different ways! Hy Jackson!
